Volunteers are an integral part of the Jewish Federation of Santa Barbara and Jewish Family Service. Throughout the year, we place many volunteers who help to fulfill the community's diverse needs. Volunteer opportunities are vast and varied, and positions can be customized to fit your unique interests and skills.
In keeping with the essence of Jewish responsibility to aid those in need, volunteerism strengthens the Federation’s commitment to tzedaka, “charity and justice,” and furthers our mission of tikkun olam, “healing the world,” and kol Y’israel areyvim zeh lazeh, “all Israel must care for one another.”
By contributing your time and enthusiasm to volunteer for Jewish Family Service, you will not only gain personal gratification from helping others, but you will also leave a lasting positive impact on your community. Volunteering also has Impressive Health Benefits!
From seniors who are young at heart to high school students looking to fulfill their community service requirements, we have a volunteer opportunity that is right for you. Join us!
