"No Place for Hate" Recognition
Portraits of Survival has been recognized as a coalition partner by the Anti-Defamation League's "No Place for Hate." Any group or organization that wants to be certified as a "No Place for Hate" organization can attend a Portraits educational program for credit toward certification. Thanks to the ADL for this recognition.

 

Communication Award
Jewish Federation and Jewish Family Service of Greater Santa Barbara won the Association of Jewish Family and Children’s Services (AJFCS) Kovod award of “Excellence in Communication” for the DVD of Video Portraits of Survival (produced in collaboration with UCSB Department of Film Studies).
