Beverlye Hyman Fead was delighted to be invited to speak at the monthly Jewish Women's Network Coffee Hour on January 10th at the Santa Barbara Club where a lovely group of over 30 women gathered to share a morning of coffee, laughter, and inspiration.
Beverlye spoke on topics ranging from aging and wellness, to meeting goals, and truly enjoying life. She shared vibrant stories of adults in their 70s, 80s, and 90s who were still passionately living their lives and reinventing themselves. She surprised everyone when she revealed her own age to be 82--living proof that there is indeed, a new way to age! The cornerstones of Beverlye's success are staying healthy, keeping an active mind, and realizing the benefits of researching and gaining knowledge about one's own health.
During her talk, she encouraged everyone to dream big and follow their dreams, no matter their age. She suggests making lists, setting goals, writing things down, and going for it!
It was a morning full of warmth and support among a strong community of inspiring women.
Beverlye would like to give special thanks to Jilli Spear for extending an invitation and organizing a great event.
What a wonderful way to spend a morning!
