Richard Kux z"l' 1914 -2009
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Richard Kux, husband of Georgia, and a dear friend to the Jewish Federation for many years. He was an early leader in the annual fund-raising campaigns of the Jewish Federation of Santa Barbara, and is considered to be "the father of Federation's Women's Division." May his memory be a blessing to his wife Georgia, his family, and to us all.

WE’LL MISS YOU, MEL
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mel Keimach, z”l. Phyllis and Mel came to Santa Barbara in1998 and immediately volunteered with the Federation, serving on the Federation board, and helping with many Federation and community projects. Mel was the maven for our Jewish Festival, and his leadership provided many enjoyable Festivals for our community. Mel’s memory is a blessing to us all.
