Maria Segal is a Holocaust survivor featured in our Portraits of Survival exhibit. Her rescuer, Wanda Hadrysiak was recognized as Righteous Among the Nations in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

Local Police Tour Portraits of Survival
Portraits of Survival is hosting the Santa Barbara Police Department, in an effort spearheaded by Police Chief Cam Sanchez. The police learned how the exhibit is used to reach alienated young people in our community who unfortunately share with Holocaust survivors experiences of discrimination, family disruption, and challenges of immigration.
